Population Research Institute has slashed millions of dollars in U.S. funding from the notorious United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). Triggered by PRI's covert investigations in Communist China, $34 million was slashed in 2002 and $25 million was slashed in 2003. We have high hopes that this level of funding cuts will remain in place for several more years!

Automatic Monthly Donations

Automatic Monthly Donations to PRI save us time and money and save you the hassle of writing checks! Automatic donations can be set up either through your credit card or through automatic bank drafts. Each month many donors choose to make a donation to PRI automatically by allowing us to charge their credit card or authorize their bank to send PRI a check. It is a safe, easy, and efficient way to support the vital work of PRI.

Direct Transfer Option

New in 2004--PRI is looking into the possibility of a new monthly donation program called direct transfer. With your permission, the direct transfer option allows PRI to withdraw a specified amount from your bank account and deposit the donation into the general operating account of PRI. This is perhaps the quickest and easiest way to help support PRI and, best of all, the transfer would show up on your monthly banking statement. Then, you can be thanked each month or just request a year-end statement from PRI detailing all of your tax-deductible donations for tax purposes. Stock Donations

Stock Donations are made to PRI throughout the year but are more frequent as the year draws to a close. For tax deductible benefits, some donors choose to make a year-end Christmas donation of stock to PRI. With the help of a pro-life investment broker, PRI then either sells the stock or maintains the investment depending on the market at the time the stock transaction is made. Share the Good News

Introduce a friend, a family member, or a coworker to the good work of PRI! Share with others what you know about PRI. Help us to find other supporters through your network of pro-life contacts. Need help? No problem, call PRI and ask for a "POP PACK," a small sample of our literature that will explain who we are and what we do. Let us know if you want us to mail it to your pro-life friend or if you want to send it to them yourself. Matching Gifts

Matching gifts--double your gift to PRI!  With the matching gift program, your gift to PRI can be doubled. All you have to do is ask your employer if gifts to charities will be matched dollar for dollar. If the answer is "YES" then request a matching gift form, fill it out, send it to PRI with a donation and you just doubled your gift to PRI! It's that easy!

Long Distance Service

Pro-life long distance phone companies often will donate a percentage of your monthly bill to a charity of your choice. Why not make PRI the recipient of that gift? Just tell the phone company that you want PRI to get the donation. If we are not on their list, let us know and we'll add our name as a legitimate recipient.

PRI Weekly Briefings

Join our Weekly Briefing email list and stay up to date on some of the most important issues in the battle for the Culture of Life. The Weekly Briefing is also an excellent way to introduce PRI to your pro-life friends, neighbors and fellow parishioners. Just forward the email to them or send us their email address and we'll add them to our list.

Wills

Wills are perhaps the most under-estimated form of financial support. PRI has been blessed with special bequests this past year and they have been a real "shot in the arm" for our work! Let's face it. We all have to die someday. It's a fact of life. But why let the state or other family member decide who gets your money once you are gone? Once your family is taken care of and debts are paid, why not fund a charity that is "doing the most important work on earth"? Please remember PRI in your will.
