Recently, PRI was asked to partner with the Pontifical Council for the Family, to teach bishops around the world our proven investigative methods to fight and defund illegal anti-life activity around the world.
The director of our European office recently had a series of meetings with the Pontifical Council for the Family. Our director shared how we have successfully used our approach in country after country around the world, giving examples of our work from Nicaragua, Panama, China and Peru.
As a result, we have been asked to partner with the Pontifical Council on a number of fronts.
PRI has long been known for its incremental, analytical approach to the pro-life cause. PRI's people are not only committed to the pro-life cause, but they are also well educated, highly professional, and have much experience in the political realm. Using this experience, they are able to conduct meaningful investigations around the world, reporting when abortion groups break local or international laws. We then use this information to de-fund these groups.
Through this partnership, PRI intends to demonstrate for pro-lifers throughout the world how to follow this legal and investigative method, and thus to be more effective in their own countries, as well as in the international sphere.
However, this exciting new opportunity poses new logistical challenges for PRI. We will need to send our representatives around the world to meet with bishops, and host training sessions. As always, we rely on your generous support to keep this and our other operations up and running.
